What's about The 59ers (Ex Legend'59) :
From Bourg en Bresse in France, "The 59ers" is the meeting up of 4 guys : Alex (lead vocal, rythm guitar) Nico (bass, vocal), Gaët (drums, vocal) and Dan (lead guitar, vocal).
For the love of American music (rock and roll, country, swing), they write some original songs.
From Johnny Cash to Brian Setzer, you have to listen to all their influences, with a noticeable touch of personality.
After a first LP in 2013 (Complet'ly rock'n'roll...), they played on many stages (Country Rendez-vous in Craponne, Good rockin' tonight in Attignat ....).
In 2016 the band decide to change the name "Legend'59" in "The Fifty-Niners" for their 2nd LP
In 2018, the band continue the story without Alex. That's the beginning of a new adventure.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the band stop the project for a few months.
In 2023, the band restart a new adventure with Sacha, a new drummer who replace Gaët.
If you love American sounds from the 50's to our present day, that's the band you need for an amazing grooving moment.
A propos de The 59ers ( Ex Legend'59) :
Originaire de Bourg en Bresse en France, "The 59ers" est le résultat de la rencontre de quatre gars : Alex (chant, guitare rythmique), Nico (basse), Gaët (batterie) et Dan (guitare).
Par amour des musiques USA des fities, (rock'n'roll, country, swing), ils se sont mis à la composition de chansons originales.
Après un premier album sorti en 2013 (complet'ly rock'n roll...) Legend'59 parcourt les scènes (Country rendez-vous à Craponne/Arzon, Good rockin' Tonight à Attignat...)
De Johnny Cash à Brian Setzer, on entend leurs influences avec une touche bien personnelle.
En 2016, le groupe décide de changer de nom à l'occasion de la sortie du 2ème album. Legend'59 devient "The Fifty-Niners"
En 2018, le groupe continue sa route sans Alex. C'est un nouveau départ.
En raison de la pandémie de Covid-19, le groupe mets ses activités en pause pendant de longs mois.
The 59ers revient en 2023 avec Sacha qui remplace Gaët derrière les fûts.
